BMW i4 M50

Range test

BMW i4

M50

The BMW i4 M50 beat its WLTP range with 518 km at 90 km/h in summer, while the winter test at around 1 °C gave 385 km. On that wet winter drive, shown in the video, the 2,400 kg car was rather thirsty, especially at 120 km/h. It felt much quieter and more comfortable than a Tesla Model 3, and the Harman Kardon sound system earned nine out of ten. Less refined was the lane assist, which braked hard a few times when the wheel was released.
