Tesla Model Y

Performance (2022)

The German-built Tesla Model Y Performance went 513 km at 90 km/h in the summer test, 7% beyond its WLTP range and one of the best ratios recorded. Despite 21-inch wheels, it used only slightly more energy than the Long Range version, and at 90 km/h its consumption matched the Model 3 Performance. The sound system scored 7 out of 10, losing points for harsh treble, boomy bass and a rattling door speaker. Charging briefly peaked at 250 kW, and this kind of efficiency arguably makes a very large battery unnecessary.
