Mercedes-Benz EQC
400 4Matic
The Mercedes-Benz EQC 400 4Matic went 420 km at 90 km/h at 14 °C in the test, slightly more than its WLTP rating. Almost exactly 80 kWh worked out to be usable, and it proved more efficient than the Audi e-tron and Jaguar I-Pace, giving it a longer range than both. Pluses include free coasting thanks to its induction motors and regen paddles that still work with cruise control on, and the Burmester sound system was rated top-notch. Verdict: anyone who wants a premium EV but not a Tesla should consider the EQC.
