Opel Ampera-e
The Opel Ampera-e went 395 km at 90 km/h in warm summer weather in the test, using about 144 Wh/km. In a direct comparison, the similar-sized Hyundai Kona used about 10% less energy at both 90 and 120 km/h and has a bigger battery. At 120 km/h the range fell to about 275 km, but the Ampera-e still appears more efficient than most other cars in its class. It also has active battery cooling, and its boot swallowed 18 banana boxes, two more than the Kona.
