Zerofy + Viessmann: Heat Pump Integration Launch
Today we are launching our partnership with Viessmann.
With this release, Viessmann heat pump systems can now be integrated directly into Zerofy and included in the same optimization workflow users already rely on for EV charging, battery control, and solar-aware automation.
Why this integration matters
In many homes, heating is one of the largest and most important energy loads. If heating is managed separately from the rest of the home energy system, optimization potential remains limited. By connecting Viessmann systems to Zerofy, we can make coordinated decisions across more of the household energy stack.
That means less manual control, better use of available solar production, and more consistent cost-aware operation over time.
What is supported in this first phase
The initial rollout focuses on hot water optimization. Users can run connected systems with our two existing control strategies:
- Smart mode, where Zerofy schedules operation based on optimization inputs.
- Solar mode, where operation is shifted toward local solar availability.
This gives users a practical starting point that already delivers value without requiring a complete heating-control overhaul from day one.
What comes next
This launch is the first step. The next phase is expansion toward space heating use cases.
As with every major integration, we are iterating closely with real setup data to improve behavior and reliability release by release. Our goal is not just to connect devices, but to make connected heating genuinely useful inside a whole-home optimization system.
