Zerofy + Vaillant: Heat Pump Integration Launch (Germany)

We are excited to launch our integration with Vaillant.

Starting with this release, Vaillant heat pump systems can be connected to Zerofy and managed with the same optimization logic we use across flexible household energy devices.

Launch scope

This initial launch is available in Germany only.

We are beginning with hot water optimization, where connected Vaillant systems can be steered in:

• Smart mode for cost-aware, automated operation planning.
• Solar mode for operation aligned with local PV availability.

For users, this means less manual switching and better coordination between heating consumption and the rest of the energy setup.

Why this is an important step

Home energy management has to include heating to be truly effective. Electricity, mobility, storage, and heating all influence each other. Adding Vaillant support helps us move from point-optimizations to broader household-level optimization.

What is next

After this first phase focused on hot water, we will extend support toward space heating scenarios.

As always, we are shipping in stages: start with stable value, then expand capability based on real-world performance and feedback.
